Yorkshire based recruitment Group Brewster McBride have completed their first year of trading with a commitment to plant over 500 trees.  Brewster McBride Managing Director, Nigel Brewster committed earlier in the year to plant at least one tree for every placement made by the business as part of its commitment to the environment in making all its recruitment activities carbon neutral and is now looking for schools, charities and other worthy recipients to take trees as part of their planting campaign.

With headquarters in Doncaster, the business’ strong growth has continued throughout their first year of trading with the opening of its Leeds operation in 1 City Square.  Natalie Poskitt who heads up the Leeds office said “I am really pleased to now be back in West Yorkshire having spent over 10 years working in recruitment in Leeds.  Many of my old contacts have welcomed our approach and recognise that we offer a compelling proposition across many recruitment disciplines.”

Director of Yorkshire and Humber Lisa Kirby commented “We are really pleased to have experienced growth levels well in advance of our expectations and despite national unemployment statistics our new vacancy volumes are over 35% ahead of our projections.  Establishing two Yorkshire offices is a major achievement for such a young business and we are confident that our business model will enable us to open further locations in the coming months.  We are already looking for a site in Sheffield and have our sights set on two further locations for early 2013.”  The business is currently looking for worthy recipients of this year’s 500 saplings and all enquiries should be made to: trees@bmcb.co.uk
